For math there are two options, option one would be to complete the math worksheets included in the homework packet. Option two would be to log on to Zearn.org and practice the math skills for that week. If your child chooses zearn they will need to record their time spent on their reading log.

The second grade has developed the following consequences for missed homework: 1st missed assignment during one month: warning, reminder note written in planner. 2nd missed assignment during one month: loss of recess and reminder note written in planner. Assignment to be completed at recess.
Second Grade Homework Policy and Assignments Reading: Students are expected to read 20 minutes each night. Students are to complete the reading log to show their reading and get a parent signature to verify their reading time.
