Completely and utterly classic, very influenced by Chicago House, pretty harsh sounding at all times, but in a fun way. Da Funk has those funky bass lines, Around The World is a dance floor classic, and Alive is a real club mover and a staple of DP's live shows.
Homework was a startler to some, and ravers were not ready for it. But this album has a few more surprises than it’s tongue-in-cheek manner.. made it one of the best-selling singles Daft Punk.
Homework is a great album, i will admit that couple of tracks are slow to start and might annoy a few people, however once the songs get into their main rhythm and the 'meat' of the songs, they are very enjoyable and being a fan of daft punk, i can barely fault the album, however, what i will say (and i'll possibly be disliked for this) out of Homework and Discovery, Homework might not be to.
